Today we have one of the most modern pharmaceutic production plants in the Czech Republic, compliant with the Good Methods of Production (GMP) rules and we own a license to produce and distribute medicaments. Apart from the food complements, which still form the core of the company turnover, we have been producing also medical preparations since 2004.
We have a strong position in the Czech Republic and we have fast expanding subsidiaries in other eight European countries (Slovakia, Rumania, Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Latvia) and we export to other two dozens of countries in the world. Thanks to the fast growth of our international business activities, the Walmark Group realises most of its sales abroad these days. Although the company is profiled especially as producer of food complements, since 2004 when we marketed the first medical preparation Septofort, we keep enlarging our offer of medicaments.
In 2006 we enrolled the segment of nutrition for sportsmen through our acquisition of the major domestic producer of food complements and nutrition for sportsmen, the company Aminostar from Turnov.
We do not care only about business, we are also a company that is responsible towards the society. Our corporate culture and rules of conduct are based on respecting firm moral principles. We have been long spending significant amounts on donations. Our donations are strictly governed by the principle of helping as effectively as possible and helping those, who need it the most. Since 2005 we have been a partner and donor for the project Society Friendly to All Generations, www.spvg.cz, which strives for dialogue among generations and for changing the attitude of the Czech public to the eldelry. Since 2007 we have been the main partner of the foundation Happy Senior (Vesel senior), www.veselysenior.cz.
